I attended the Globe event last friday night at Legend Villas Pioneer.  That night, they shared with us 2 of their services for prepaid subscribers…

• SuliTXT15
• EverybodyTXT20

I’m not a prepaid subscriber but I believe those are great treats for prepaid Globe/TM users!  For example, in SuliTXT15, you could get 100 texts Globe to Globe/TM for just Php15 and in EverybodtTXT20, you get 100 texts Globe to Globe/TM and 20 texts Globe to other networks for just Php20.

Getting this load is extremely easy too.  There’s no need to register!  All you need to do is to go to your Globe load retailers nationwide to load SuliTXT & EverybodyTXT.

How to avail SuliTXT15:

• Go to your favorite sari-sari store or go to any Globe load restailers nationwide
• Text SULITXT 15 to 8888

How to check your text balance (Php1/text):

• Text SLTXLOAD BAL to 8888 (if you bought your load from retailers)
• Text SLTX BAL to 8888 (if you registered)

Similar to what I did for my iphone, I want to have a documented list of applications I have in my Palm T|X.

This is so… it’s going to be easier for me to keep track and also have documented reviews of all those apps, just to remind me if I liked them or not hahahaa. And ofcourse, this is to help you decide which applications you can download on your gadget/s that runs Palm OS

I have many applications on my Palm but I was only able to review a few. Once I have time, I’ll catch up with the reviews.

My blogger friend Sonny invited us to this event. This is the 1st ever blogging event I joined & I’m glad I did.

I didn’t know that there is a group existing of Pinoy bloggers! I really hope that soon I’ll be able to meet most of them so I can be “in” in the group (if you know what I mean).

I’ve been blogging for quite sometime but I still feel that I’m a “newbie” in the bloggers world. My Alexa rank is soooo low that it really makes me sad

Anyway, the event is sponsored by SM Marketing Department. They wanted bloggers to test the WiFi of the mall. Take note, SM Marikina is WiFi enabled for the WHOLE mall & not just cyberzone. This is I think the only SM Mall that is WiFi enabled mallwide.

So first, we register in the booth then we can go around the mall and pick a cafe, restaurant, anywhere within the mall & blog away. Then at 5PM, we were asked to proceed to Cyberzone event center for the Raffle, an Asus Laptop!

My friends and I didn’t win but congratulations to the girl who won, I heard it was also her birthday so I bet she had one of the best birthdays ever hehehe.

Today, I updated my iPhone software from 2.1 to 2.2. Obviously, I still own the 1st generation iPhone so I unlocked it via QuickPwn.

Here are the steps that I took:

• Update iPhone Software via iTunes
• Restore iPhone and backup previous iPhone settings
• download Quickpwn (take note: im using a mac)
• Use quickpwn to unlock & jailbreak my 2G iPhone

Apple released the update last November 21. Good thing, the iPhone Dev team works really fast that I was already able to download the update today.

• Preference to turn on/off auto-correction in Keyboard Settings

I specifically love the ability to turn on/off auto correction & download podcasts on our iPhones.

I love themes!

It makes our iPhone more customizable in a way that it can suit our personality… I change themes just to make my iPhone fresh and hip…

sometimes I do get tired of seeing things the way they are.. to make it exciting, i change themes often.

We can’t find this on iTunes AppStore. That’s why jailbreaking is a must! We can find the themes on Cydia for free. To activate them, use Winterboard – also available at Cydia.
