I’m getting tired of fruit salad. It has been the usual dish that people prepare every holiday season. Since I got myself another fruit cocktail from the company’s Christmas basket, I made it a point to find a recipe for it.
Good thing Del Monte has a very simple recipe that uses the fruit cocktail, this time, as fruit pops! Since I have some ice drop molds in the kitchen, I didn’t think twice in preparing it. Nude Audio Move M Bluetooth Speaker

Nude Audio M… my first impression was, “why is the speaker named nude?”. When I observed the speaker further, I realised that it must be because of the minimalistic design. The black/coral colour that I got have only a hint of coral on the speaker just to bring out the brand name, plus the cord which gives the product character.
I like the look of Nude Audio Move M speaker because it’s different from all the speakers in the market. I guess it pays that the makers of the Nude Audio Move speaker were actually fashion manufacturers. With every product out there, the appearance wins the first moment of truth for the buyers.

The Nude Audio Move M Bluetooth Speaker
There are 3 available sizes for the Nude Audio speaker. However, I like the M (medium) better because it has the speakerphone function which the S (small) doesn’t have. TheL (large), while good, doesn’t make sense for me to have as I already have a similar type at home.
The Nude Audio Move M speaker is pretty straightforward. It has 5 features that I like:
- Portable
The size is just right. The Nude Audio Move M speaker fits perfectly with my hand while I hold it. That means that I can bring it with me anywhere. It fits inside my bag too! I wouldn’t have any problems bringing it just in case I need a speaker with me outside my home.
- Sturdy
The Move M speaker is made of thick silicone that protects the accessory from bumps. The silicone is smooth to the hands and actually feels nice when you hold it. I don’t have to worry about knocking it off or accidentally dropping it because I know that there’s this protective sleeve in the Nude Audio Move M speaker.
Plus, I can use the nylon strap to further protect the speaker from falling down. We can use the colourful strap to hang, clip on, and sway on the Nude Audio Move M.
But of course, we take care of our things all the time. I just like that we have this sense of security that it won’t break when accident happens.
- Battery Life
The Nude Audio Move M Speaker lasts until 7-8 hours based on my experience. The battery life is decent especially for a portable accessory. I can use this for several hours straight just listening to music or using it for conference calls.
- Connects to Smartphones & Tablets
The Nude Audio Move M works on bluetooth enabled devices. It works as long as the speaker is within ten meters with the paired device. The speaker is easy to pair with since we only need to pair it once, then it remembers the device from there on.
Nude Move M speaker can remember up to 8 devices.
No bluetooth? Don’t worry! Because you can connect the Nude Audio Move M speaker with any non-bluetooth gadget via the Aux-in socket. It works just as great. Only difference is the distance between the device & speaker is limited to the size of the cable.
- Decent Speaker Sound + Speakerphone
Last, but definitely not the least, is the performance of the Nude Audio Move M speaker itself. I tried listening to music for several days just to make confirm my impression of the sounds. The sound is pretty good for a portable device.
What I like about Move M is its speakerphone function. I have numerous conference calls every weekdays. I need a speakerphone so I don’t need to hold my mobile phone every time. The calls were pretty clear. However, there were times wherein the people I talked to couldn’t hear me well. I guess this is pretty normal for bluetooth speakers used as speakerphones.
Verdict
For a portable speaker, the Nude Audio Move M is already an awesome choice! It might not have the clear & crisp sounds of those huge speakers but it functions as advertised. It looks pretty slick too!
The Nude Move M is pretty affordable compared to most bluetooth speakers in the market. Priced at Php 2,990, I believe it’s good value for money.
This Journal Will Actually Change Someone’s Life 2014

When typhoon Yolanda struck in the Philippines, the true Filipino bayanihan shone! Everyone was so eager to help. Well, it doesn’t stop now. You get to help when you buy your very own Change Journal 2014! A hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds go directly to Yolanda victims via Lifeline Foundation Support Team, Inc.
Lifeline Foundation
The Lifeline Foundation Support Team, Inc. is a non-profit organisation based in Manila that aims to provide relief to the oppressed and empowerment to the victim-minded.
Among Lifeline Foundation’s initiatives are helping scholars get excellent education, organising medical missions, and funding surgeries for different patients.
The unique thing about this group of individuals is that they produce funds via creating products. Lifeline Foundation doesn’t ask for monetary donations from people. Their most popular product to date is the Change Planner. In fact, the 2014 version is already their 7th planner.
Last year, the proceeds (Php 75,000) went to a girl named Angelika Rosacena. She’s the oldest of 5 children whose father is a driver. Her family couldn’t afford her schooling so Lifeline Foundation helped provide her private school education, including allowances, books, the works. Hopefully, this will help her reach her ultimate dream of being a flight attendant 🙂
For 2014, Lifeline is going to concentrate its efforts to helping Yolanda survivors. Particularly in rebuilding Iloilo.

Serenitea Exciting News!

Last weekend I got invited by Serenitea Manila for a holiday gathering, I thought it was just a simple meet up of bloggers. I was totally shocked when we were given many exciting development news about Serenitea.
I was very interested in the news. In fact, I just availed of Serenitea’s anniversary promo the week before. Serenitea would give paying customers from December 18-20, 2013, a free upgrade to 1 liter drink. Wasn’t that great?
So that time, I was still on a Serenitea high. You wouldn’t believe that I was able to drink three jumbo drinks last December 20 (yes, three!). That’s how I’m addicted to Serenitea especially when they have their jumbo promo.
Anyway, enough of my stories. I know you are eager to know what the new products and promos are. Without further ado, let me share with you four exciting information about Serenitea!
Low Sugar Pearls
I know some people who choose 0% on the sweetness level of their drinks because they are very conscious about their health. Their way of looking out for themselves is to eliminate as much sugar as possible.
Serenitea’s pearl sinkers are good! I always order them with my drink. Little did I know that the pearl sinkers are cooked in sugar thus giving our body additional sugar when we take them. Serenitea’s solution to this is to offer low sugar pearls! How cool is that?
New Snacks
One of the things that I really like about Serenitea is its snacks particularly the Chicken Chops. If you remember I was raving about it here in my blog 3 years ago, and I continue to do so.
Starting 2014, Serenitea will be introducing more variants of the chicken chops.

Seaweed, Curry Wasabe, Wasabe and Cheesy corn. I believe the name describes the taste pretty clearly. My choice would be the seaweed corn. However, the wasabe variants were very interesting. You get the same feeling when you are dipping your sushi in the wasabe sauce at a Japanese restaurant, and with every bite of Serenitea’s Wasabe corn.
You love chicken? Here’s a new take on chicken wings. I didn’t taste this at all because I was scared when I saw the chicken wing. I heard the other bloggers mentioned that it tasted like chicken with spice. Simple as that. The chix-on-sticks is priced at Php 85.00.
I’m just hoping that Serenitea will offer their snacks on all their branches. Currently, they are only offering food items to select branches namely: Banawe, D. Wow, so many things to order now at the milk tea place. Serenitea truly evolved already!

Last, but definitely not the least, the fad nowadays especially in Makati is…… an umbrella!
Yeah, and I have a certain fondness to Serenitea’s umbrella because it’s uniquely shaped and it’s sooooooooo darn cute! You have to see it in person to see how stylish it is!
Starting January 15, 2014, Serenitea will be offering the Helmet Umbrella for Php 499 with every purchase of Serenitea products worth Php 300 in a single receipt. I suggest that if you like it, then purchase it already because Serenitea will only allot 21 umbrellas on each branch. Thus, the promo will only last until all umbrella are sold and they are not many 🙂
