If you are business-minded, you’ll love this game. 🙂

The objective of this game is build your empire. In order to to this, you’ll fight ships and trade goods. Your aim is to be able to make 1 billion gold and retire. Can you do it? I’ve done it using Gossamer! (Have to try the other 3 characters though).

You have an option to choose one character to potray in this game:

• Douglas McGowan – successful trader who recently fell on hard times. Douglas worked his way back from being an apprentice clerk to running his own trading company, which he believes will once again prosper. Until he can prosper, no other captains will sail with him.
• Petra Gale – The only child of notorious South Sea pirates, she has a gift for trouble. Due to a misunderstanding, the mainland authorities launched a misguided attempt to impound her ship. Running from the Law has caused unforeseen expenses, but luckily the moneylender was more than happy to help.
• Madame Tso – After the death of her husband, she stepped in to become the successful boss of a highly prosperous merchant fleet. She has a highly respected reputation in certain circles and plans to leverage this to expand her operation overseas.
• Gossamer – most notorious brigand of the Far East. Wanted for crimes of piracy in 6 countries. Not much is known about this mysterious figure.

The only reason why I downloaded Windows Vista is for my Palm Tungsten T|X. It is not easy to install palm programs to my PDA using Mac OS X. So I’d rather have 2 OS in my macbook just to make it work and I guess to have the best of both worlds heehhe 🙂

First, how to do a soft reset.

A soft reset won’t let you lose any information. We usually just do this when your PDA hangs.

To do this, use your stylus to gently press the reset button inside the hole on the back of your Palm Tungsten T|X.

Lastly, how to do a hard reset.

This time you want to erase everything on your handheld. If you want to have a clean start, just like what I did recently 🙂

1. Press and hold the power button.
2. While holding the power button, use your stylus to gently press and release the reset button inside the hole on the back of your Palm T|X
3. Wait for the Palm Logo to appear, then you can release the power button.
4. Press the up button when the message asking you if you want to erase all information appears.

iPint is an AppStore game. When you download the application from Appstore, it will ask you first if you are over 18 years old. If you are, you can continue with the application. 🙂

First, you’ll play barslide and if you win, you’ll get a virtual beer (Carling brand!) hehehe.

There are 3 modes of the game: Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced. The difference between the 3 modes is how the table is shaped. For beginner, it’s just rectangle. For Intermediate, it’s slightly curved and for Advanced, It’s Zig-Zaggy.

In order to play, you’ll slide the pint to your friend at the other side of the bar. You’ll have to tilt your phone to control the direction of the pint.

All you have to do is to slide the pint to the other side and avoid obstacles and also avoid falling off the bar.

When you were able to give the pint to your friend, you’ll have your own pint and you can somewhat drink it virtually ehehhe 🙂

Ever since Apple released Firmware 2.0 & App Store for Apple iPhone. I’ve been really eager to upgrade but since Philippines is not yet supported that time. All I needed to do is just wait for iPhone Dev Team to release their new version of Pwnage tool.

For the past weeks, I’ve been visiting their blog for at least 5 times a day. Just to be able to get new updates of their tool. Check it out here.

I believe a lot of people would need a tutorial on how to use this amazing tool. So I’m here blogging about it 🙂

Be sure to do the following first:

• Download the ff.: –

• Pwnage 2.02 (here)
• Bootloaders 3.9 & 4.6 (here)

• Download the newest firmware, do remember to use iTunes. Choose Download only. Pwnage will find the firmware automatically when you do this. It saves you time in finding the right firmware on the net.

So now you have firmware 2.x on your iphone and it’s now locked.

It’s time to brace yourself for firmware 2.x on your iphone wohoo! 🙂

• Open Pwnage Tool 2.02, Select Simple Mode then Select Your Device.

• Click Next and Pwnage will find the firmware automatically from your iTunes Folder. Choose it then click Next.

• Select No on this screen.

• Select Yes here and find the Bootloader 3.9 file on your computer.

• Select No on this screen.

• Select Yes here and find the Bootloader 4.6 file on your computer.

• Select Yes on this screen.

• If you have a legit AT&T account, select yes here. If not, select No.

• The tool will now create your custom firmware.

• It will prompt you to enter your computer password, enter it.

• Just select No here to be safe.

• Follow the instructions exactly on how it is written, it’s very simple 🙂

• When your iPhone enters into DFU mode successfully, you’ll see this screen.

• Close Pwnage Tool and go to your iTunes.

• Option Click Restore and find the custom firmware on your computer (the one made by Pwnage).

Congratulations, we’ve done it! 🙂

Please do note that I’m using a Mac. So this tutorial is very useful for Mac users.

If you’re a windows user, you might want to just search for a custom firmware 2.0.1 for Windows users 🙂 Once you have the firmware ready, you’ll need to reset & restore your iPhone into factory settings (tutorial I made for that is found here). Lastly in your iTunes, option-click restore & find the custom firmware on your computer and you’re done! 🙂

When I was still using the old firmware, I have to download a 3rd party program in order to take screenshots of the iPhone.

Now, with firmware 2.0… No need to download any application as it is already built in! wohooo!

So here’s how:

1. Hold down Home Button.
2. Quickly press Sleep/Wake Button while you’re still doing Step # 1.
3. The screen will flash.
4. You’ll see your screenshot image in your camera roll.
5. Now you can already use that image to send via email-mobileme gallery, set as your wallpaper & assign the image to a contact.
