Looks can be really deceiving. When I saw the packaging of Inner Exile Slim Fit Case for the iPhone 5, it didn’t strike me as a good case. I was even surprised when I saw the price. Why will such a simple looking case cost Php 1,200??? :O
Then I tried it out… Then I liked it… Then I loved it more… Then I appreciated it more and more… Then I started raving about it… Then I kept using it… Then I didn’t remove it from my iPhone 5 for two weeks now… my verdict? Pretty obvious, isn’t it?

Straightforward
As soon as you remove the case from its packaging, you already know how to install it on your phone. It’s that straightforward. You don’t need a manual to even learn how to make the case function for you. It’s that simple but yet it grows on you.
Easily Accessible
With Inner Exile Mono case, you can access all buttons and ports easily.
Considering the amount of space given to the side ports, it makes it easy for you to remove the case from the iPhone. This is important as I tend to use my new iPhone 5 camera accessory a lot. That camera accessory needs me to remove the case in order to make it function.
Ultra Slim Fit Design
This is the only case I tried out wherein I don’t feel that my iPhone 5 is actually wearing a case.
Would you imagine this innerexile mono slim fit case is only 1 millimeter thin? It’s made of soft plastic which is really lightweight. So it’s very convenient to bring around because it can fit our pocket and it’s easy to hold on too!

Innerexile pays tribute to Apple by making their mono slim case with stripe design. All three available colors (black, white & transparent) have that stripe design which matches the iPhone 5. I, however, chose transparent because it matches closely the original iPhone 5 look.
Elegant Style
Our fingers lie on the side of the iPhone whenever we hold it. With matte finish, we don’t see much fingerprint or smears on the case. That alone made the case look so elegant and not cheap.

I have a friend named JB. He is very very much in love with his female best friend. Actually, he was in love with her ever since they started their friendship and he didn’t even realize it. Spectators/Common friends (including me) all noticed it but he kept denying it saying that he only treated her as a sister. You’ll hear the main character of Proposal Daisakusen: Operation Love chant those two words in every single episode. What does Hallelujah Chance mean? For Iwasa Ken, those are his magic words and could change his life.
Proposal Daisakusen: Operation Love is a Japanese drama shown last 2007. Considering I don’t follow Japanese TV series made me wanna thank my friend who convinced me to watch it. He was really persistent to the point that he was pestering me every single day to push me to spend time watching all eleven episodes plus the special feature film shown after that.
Last holy week, I was able to finally watch the whole story of Proposal Daisakusen: Operation Love!It was definitely one of the BEST TV series I have seen in my lifetime. I’m not exaggerating! If my friend took a lot of time convincing me then I’m going to use this blog entry to convince you to watch it too! I spent one whole day watching but it was all worth it! There are just too many lessons to learn, too many things to reflect with and too many scenes that can touch your heart.
Proposal Daisakusen tells the story of five individuals who have strong friendship. It focuses though on Iwasa Ken who was attending Yoshida Rei’s wedding. He realises that he is losing Rei forever thus feeling miserable all throughout the wedding. Luckily, a fairy lives in the church and gave Ken a chance to go back into the past so he can confess to Rei what he feels…

There is one catch though. The fairy can let Ken go back to the past through the photos shown during the slideshow at the wedding. Ken will be able to relive that moment where the photo took place. However, he must return to the present once the photo has been taken.
Ken is not skilled in courting or in facing his romantic feelings thus he couldn’t do anything during his first attempt in time travel. All he did was change the expression of Rei resulting to her smile in the photo.
But what do we know? The fairy came back as soon as the second photo on the wedding slideshow showed up. Apparently, Ken had more chances in professing his love to Rei. Will he be successful this time?
I won’t expound more because I do not want to give spoilers about Proposal Daisakusen: Operation Love. You have to watch it to appreciate it. One thing you must do is to have a roll of tissue beside you while watching so that you can get some when you ended up crying.
I, for one, was crying all throughout. It was that bad that the next day, my eyes were so swollen, I couldn’t even open my eyes!
The more important thing about the whole experience is there are a lot of lessons to remember by. Proposal Daisakusen didn’t just talk about love but also friendship. There were so many words of wisdom. Even the theme song is sooooo beautiful!

Now, why did I mention my friend JB at the start of this article? Because I wish he will have a fairy like in Proposal Daisakusen when our female friend gets married in the future. I know it is impossible but I hope one day, JB will finally realise that keeping his feelings to himself will hurt him more. Maybe he has a chance after all!

Summer is here! You know what?KFC is innovating new KFC Krushers flavors again! It’s really scorching hot with temperature of 35 degress celsius here in Manila. When Filipinos crave for something cold during this heat season, two desserts come to mind — Halo Halo and Buko Pandan. Guess what? Those two are the summer flavors of KFC Krushers! Isn’t that cool?
What I like about the new KFC Summer Krushers is that we don’t need to mix the ingredients. We just put the straw on the cup and start sipping! Of course, in true KFC Krushers style, there’s always real bits in the dessert drink.
Let’s get to know the two flavors:
Buko Pandan Krushers
Refreshing buko drink with bits of real macapuno and green nata.
Among the two flavours, I like the buko pandan better. Even between the real buko pandan and halo halo desserts, it’s the same preference. The KFC version is rich, like really rich! If you want strong flavours of the buko pandan, then you will like Buko Pandan Krushers. I feel it’s on the sweet side though.
Halo-Halo Krushers
Creamy ube drink with bits of real macapuno, sweet leche flan and nata.
Like I said earlier, I really like that I don’t need to exert effort in mixing the ingredients in the halo halo. I can just dive right in and enjoy the dessert. It’s also too sweet like buko pandan krushers but what the heck, everyone has a sweet tooth 🙂
Apart from the launch of the Summer Krushers, KFC came up with a promo wherein eight friends can spend two days and three nights on a private resort in Narra, Palawan.
