We ate at Oody’s for dinner after watching “Unborn”. I’m just happy that we have good food coz we were all really disappointed with the movie. I’ll blog about it soon.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant. All the dishes are just yummy for me. I especially love their pad thai and I’m super duper over the max addicted to their pandan juice. I just wish I know how to prepare one so I can just drink it every single day hehehe.

We ordered the ff.:

  • Pandan Juice (Php75)

This is the only place I know that serves Pandan Juice. I’ll be overly happy to be drunk with this drink hehehe! I think I was able to drink 4-5 servings of this when we went there. I can drink more actually. I super love it!

  • Chicken Pandan (Php188)

It’s basically Marinated Chicken wrapped in Pandan Leaves. Specialty of Oodys, pretty good. I really just love all the dishes in this place.

  • Fried Catfish with Sweet & Sour Sauce (Php230)

Another pretty delicious dish, I just can’t get enough though. There’s only much meat we can eat in a single catfish. It was just fried & cooked perfectly.

  • Pad Thai (Php240)

Best fried noodles ever. Thai Rice Noodles with tiger shrimps, bread sprouts, egg in tamarind sauce with chopped peanuts. I’m really curious who came up with this recipe as all the ingredients are just perfectly delicious together.

  • Pandan Rice (Php28)

Just plain rice that was just named pandan rice. I don’t know why.

  • Chicken Satay (Php138)

their own BBQ version. It’s grilled chicken in curry. Served with peanut sauce. I’m not really fond of curry so this is just okay for me.

Do You Know Where I Can Buy This Dress?

IMG_2481

I was watching How I Met Your Mother and saw one of the characters wearing the dress.
It is a dress and NOT a bikini, looks cool isn’t it?

I really want to have one!

Anyone know where I can buy it here in Manila or in other countries?

The venue for the Cashflow Game is here. The Php200 per person fee is mostly paid just for the meal and also I guess the meal of the organizers heehhee. It’s wayy worth it though so I’m happy.

Anyway, the food isn’t that impressive… but the service is good, the staff is always ready to serve with a smile… I just hope they’ll improve on their cooking though..

Here are what was mostly ordered:

  • Mapo Tofu Rice (Php115)
IMG_2388

I’m glad I chose this over the other dishes coz it seemed that this is the only dish that is better than the others. It just tasted okay. Nothing special. I think this was cooked like 30minutes ago before it was served to us.. so the sauce dried up a lil.

  • Sweet & Sour Pork (Ph125)
IMG_2390

The one who ordered this told me that it tasted okay. I’m still glad I ordered the mapo tofu though hehehe.

  • Pan Grilled Porkchop Rice (Php125)
IMG_2387

All the people that ordered this didn’t like it at all. I can see it myself. It’s obvious, it was wayyyy too dry…. NOT juicy at all… so I kinda expected the feedback on this dish.

  • Fish Fillet Congee with Century Egg (Php110)
IMG_2389

Looks good and I think it tasted good as well. I asked the people who ordered this and they told me that it’s good, nice & okay. I’m still glad I ordered the mapo tofu hahahaha

Cashflow 101

IMG_2384

My friend asked me if I could accompany him to the game. It was his 1st time and he didn’t know anyone, I tried playing the game once before and decided that might as well play it again (maybe try a different strategy).

I was pleasantly surprised on how this was organized. When I played this before, it was just purely a game. But this time, we were taught on why and how we acted upon a move w/c is really cool. Aside from being able to meet people, we also learned a lot about the concepts of investing & stuff.

Cashflow game is created by Robert Kiyosaki to teach us how to get out of the rat race. Basically, to develop skills on how to achieve financial freedom.

My Auntie Beng is a big fan of Robert Kiyosaki, when I was still in high school, she influenced me to reading his book “Rich Dad Poor Dad”. I was hooked and he became my favorite author of all time.

It’s sad that I think that I never learned the concepts coz I ended up the poorest from the group! I lost the game big time hahahahha! My strategy that time was to invest conservatively… I think the lesson there is not to let opportunities pass.. sometimes we really need to take risks in order to succeed.
