Recipe: Braised Tofu with Ground Pork
Posted by Rochelle Sy Chua On April 28, 2013

I should be veering away from tofu considering the food poisoning incident that happened to me a few months ago. But what the heck, I learned that if we get tofu, we should consume it within 3 weeks. Now, I made sure I followed that rule. I never ever wanted to remove tofu in my diet because it is extremely delicious!
While I was searching for recipes online, the thing that I was looking for was the ease of cooking the dish. So there, I tried making my own version 🙂 Read More
Recipe: Oriental Pasta Delight

I truly enjoyed the Pinoy-style spaghetti recipe that I tried out last month. This time around, being Chinese, I have to try out our own version. I’m starting to prepare a lot of pasta dishes but I guess, this is a stage in my cooking journey. After a short while, I would divert my attention to rice dishes 😛
I have to apologize in advance because I made a mistake while cooking the dish. I poured the whole 1 cup chicken stock not knowing that I should have just poured a quarter of it. After realizing such mistake, I had to improvise and add a lil more of the other ingredients to get the right taste. So if you noticed in some photos wherein the sauce is a bit liquid, that is because of my mistake. Please follow the recipe wherein 1/4 cup of the stock is needed. Read More
Recipe: Spicy Country Fries

I super love french fries. Whenever I feel so stressed or if I feel sad, I would go to McDonald’s and get myself a large fries. I must admit that the price is expensive for me to order it everyday.
One day, I was walking around the mall and saw the air fryer. The appliance store was marketing it as a healthy alternative to cooking fries. Would you believe that we don’t need to dip the fries in oil anymore? How cool is that? I immediately thought that I do not need to feel guilty anymore when eating plus I don’t have to go through with all the grease when cleaning the dishes & pans. So yeah, I bought the air fryer. The first dish that I cooked up using the Air Fryer is Spicy Country fries. It was actually the first recipe in the air fryer recipe book. Read More
