The event was sponsored by Philippine Online Chronicles, a news & features website under Vibal Foundation and also where Blogwatch.PH is in.

Terra Wellness Spa Signature Massage
Posted by Rochelle Sy Chua On November 25, 2009

I’ve been pretty stressed for the past few months. I don’t really know why. Maybe I lack rest & exercise or better yet, I just need a massage!! ๐
I have been looking for a place that provide soothing massage and I’ve received a lot of suggestions. One is Terra Wellness Spa located in Discovery Suites, Ortigas. If we wanted to try out a spa establishment, why not try their Signature Massage right?
Terra’s Touch (Terra’s Signature Massage) is described as a deeply relaxing massage which combine slow and graceful gliding strokes that are applied to the different key pressure points of the body to relieve tension and aid blood circulation. The experience is enhanced with the use of specially blended therapeutic oil.
As I do my usual bloghop, I stumbled upon The Doctor is VAIN website. Found out that the site is holding a contest. They will give their readers a chance to win a luxurious spa treatment. I definitely want to win this! It is a Php1,700 worth of relaxing massage & pampering. Wish me luck!
** UPDATE: I won!!!!!! ๐ I’m sooo happy! Thanks for everyone who wished me luck! It indeed gave me good luck!

Belle de Jour 2010 Power Planner
Posted by Rochelle Sy Chua On November 25, 2009

It is every girl’s desire to have a Belle De Jour Planner.
So yes, I definitely want one. For a fact, it’s very girly & also very useful. It has tons of discount coupons from various brands which shopaholics like you would love.
Now that I’m more serious with my goals, I would want to have a planner that I could bring along with me everyday. I have a lot of habits that I would want to break & I also have habits that I would want to make. Having a BDJ planner could really help me keep on track as to where I am with my goals.
Here are parts of the BDJ planner that I really like:
- 2010 Checklist – will we able to follow or even remember our goals if we don’t list them down? This is the most important section of the planner coz this is where we list down all our goals (small or big).
- Habit Tracker – is extremely important for me. I do have a lot of habits to make & break. One that I could remember is to break my habit of buying Wendy’s Iced Tea everyday & make my habit of exercising every weekend morning.
- Savings Tracker – another major goal of mine is to keep track of my finances and having this tracker could help me monitor my expenses.
- Health Checklist – I’ve been having problems with my health lately. Especially when it comes to cholesterol, headache, eyes & others. I will need this checklist to help remind me of any appointment I need to make with a doctor.
I stumbled upon Jenny’s site & she’s giving away one BDJ planner to a lucky reader! So here I am joining and hoping to win!

Roch’s Ultimate Comfort Food
Posted by Rochelle Sy Chua On November 25, 2009
Whenever I feel sad, tired, stressed, frustrated or overly hungry, I crave for my favorite food. What is my ULTIMATE comfort food? It is KFC Hot & Crispy Thigh Part Chicken!!!

I don’t know why I love it so much. I guess it is finger lickin’ good, tasty, fresh and juicy just as advertised! I only love the thigh part but since we don’t have the liberty to choose which parts we want to order, I need to choose the wing part.
This is what I usually order: Box of 6 Hot and Crispy Chicken (Php 353). That’s 3 pieces thigh part & 3 pieces wing part. I really would have chosen to have all 6 thigh parts! KFC you need to allow this!!!
Most of the time, they usually run out of thigh parts. This is why I need to order another dish as I have to wait for 20 minutes before the next batch of chicken gets cooked.
I usually order their WoW steak meal which is worth Php58. It is chicken fillet with gravy sauce served with rice & regular drink. Yummy also, a very good appetizer while I wait for the main meal ๐

This is not the first time I have blogged about KFC. See my other post here. Anywhere in the world I go, I make it a point to visit KFC. That’s how much I love their chicken! Nothing compares! Nothing!

Happy 5th Birthday Mozilla Firefox!
Posted by Rochelle Sy Chua On November 23, 2009
To celebrate five years of Mozilla Firefox, the Mozilla Philippines Community, Globe Telecom & AIM organized an event last November 21. I had the pleasure to be part of it.

I’ve been using Mozilla Firefox for quite some time. I really love that we have an alterantive browser to Microsoft Internet Exploer because I really dislike using IE. One thing I love most about Firefox is that it is customizable. I love love love the add-ons! There are hundreds of it that we can adjust to our own style and liking.
I actually was surprised to learn that there is an active community of Mozilla Firefox users in the Philippines. They even have campus reps!
Campus Reps are volunteers from different schools who help spread the existence of Firefox in the Philippines. Well, who else are the ones active online but the young right?

The event organizer shared with us the history of Mozilla Firefox and how it stands in the online market. Would you believe that a few years back, Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 had 96% of the browser market share? Nine out of ten people were using Internet Explorer!

Here are some more trivia I learned from the event:
- Philippines is 4th country in the world with most number of Firefox users
- There was 20% increase of Firefox users in the last 5 months
- There are about 1.5 million Firefox users in the Philippines today
- Firefox has 25% share on global browser space
- Firefox has 50% share in the Philippines!
- Mozilla Firefox has 75 different languages available
Globe Telecom also shared with us that Firefox finally has an add-on for Globe Telecom. We can now send text from our Firefox browser! Rates still apply though (Php1.00 per text). ๐

I kinda liked how the logo evolved. It actually started as phoenix then firebird then finally, firefox. Here is a video showing how Firefox can light our world ๐ Sorry guys for the poor recording, my hand was kinda tired of holding the camera in a stationary position.
Pictures from the event can be found here.
