Recipe: Instant Korean Ramen
March 26, 2016

For today, I’ll be sharing one of my guilty pleasures, the Korean Ramen. I usually have Korean Ramen cooked at home whenever I’m sick. The reason for this is I just can’t get myself to prepare anything if I’m feeling weak. Though it’s quite ironic that instant ramen os unhealthy, I still cook Korean Ramen when I’m under the weather. Maybe, I’ll find something else easy to cook the next time I get sick. But right now, Korean Ramen is still my go-to food.
This particular recipe by Maangchi is very easy. All we need is water, the Korean instant ramen pack and egg! I don’t know what’s with Korean ramen but I just love the taste of it. It’s spicy, tasty and oh so yummy! I wish I can quit Korean Instant Ramen.
- 1 pack Korean Ramyeon Instant Noodles
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 piece egg
- 2 green onions, chopped
- In a pot, bring water to a boil.
- Add the noodles and soup powder from the Korean Instant Noodle Pack to the boiling water.
- Cover and boil for 1 minute.
- Open the lid and mix the ingredients together.
- Crack the egg and place into the ramen mixture.
- Cover the pot again and cook for 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Open the lid and place the dried vegetables from the instant ramen package together with fresh green onions.
- Serve and enjoy!
