Recipe: Corned Beef Sinigang

I remember having tried corned beef sinigang in one of the Filipino restaurants in the metro.  There, I’ve gotten the idea that we can actually use corned beef to make sinigang.  

So when I found the recipe at Butter Love Affair, I made sure to try it.  There is a specific corned beef brand that the recipe called for and I made sure I followed it to ensure better result.  The end result?  A super yummy Corned Beef Sinigang!  I just love it!

Ingredients
  1. 1 can 326 grams Palm Corned Beef
  2. 1 tomato, sliced
  3. 1 onion, sliced
  4. 3 pieces green finger chilies
  5. 6 cups water
  6. 1 20 grams sinigang mix
  7. salt to taste
  8. 1 bunch water spinach
Instructions
  1. Heat a big pot and put water and bring to a boil.
  2. Add tomatoes and onions until softened.
  3. Add green chilies to the pot.
  4. Add corned beef and let boil then simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add sinigang mix and let simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Bring to a boil then add kangkong for 1 minute.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
