Garlic Snow Peas Stir Fry

Sometimes, the simplest recipes are the yummiest.  The Garlic Snow Peas Stir Fry is definitely one of those dishes 🙂  It’s rare to find a simple recipe online so I’m really happy that China Sichuan Food had this in their blog.

I really like that I can whip up this dish in less than 15 minutes yet it can be as satisfying as a side dish or even a main.  I can really live with just one dish to partake with my rice.

Ingredients
  1. 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  2. 2 cups snow peas
  3. 3-4 garlic cloves, minced
  4. 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  5. salt to taste
  6. tasted sesame seeds (for garnishing)
Instructions
  1. In a wok, bring water to a boil.
  2. Add a few drops of oil and a pinch of salt to the wok.
  3. Place the snow peas to the wok to cook for 1 minute.
  4. Transfer to a container, drain and set aside.
  5. Heat up the same wok and put oil.
  6. Fry the garlic until aromatic.
  7. Add snow peas to the wok.
  8. Add salt and sesame oil.
  9. Mix and continue to fry for a few minutes.
  10. Serve and garnish with toasted sesame seeds.
